Looking to GoFAR Out this Summer Without Going too Far?
We have just the place for you, GoFAR USA Park is a family owned and operated adventure park and farm located in Decatur Alabama on South Bethel road. While speaking with the owner and matriarch with the family we learned that she, her children, and sister operate the adventure park. With core values they hope to get families outside and moving at an affordable rate. Parent or Guardian must complete a waiver for themselves and their children under age 18.
This adventure was just what we were looking for this spring break! At the park they have something for everyone in your family! Check out below some of our favorite activities at GoFAR USA!
Every thirty minutes the staff changes between three stations that they supervise and operate. These activities include their petting zoo, zip-lines, and the rock climbing wall.
GoFAR Out on the Farm
Starting at the petting zoo we were able to interact with goats, chickens, bunnies, guinea pigs, and horses. They also have piglets, ducks, turkeys, and a bull who you can watch frolic in their enclosures. For an extra price you are able to ride one of their horses and feed the animals.

Zipping through the Park
At GoFAR Park they offer rides on their four zip-lines. Each set up for a certain weight limit we loved to zip through the trees with the wind in our hair!

Rock (Climbing) through the Park
One of the kids favorite things to do when we were adventuring on the farm was the 24 foot tall rock walls. Harder than it looks the rock walls were a huge hit with all our kiddos racing each other to the top. The staff sets you up with an appropriate harness and guidance to make it to the top safely.

Also, included in the general admission to the park is their natural playscape, tiny tikes area, adult obstacle course, ninja course, hiking and biking trails, gaga ball, giant ringtoss, human foosball, tether ball, and dirt kick scooters!

Park add-ons
Paintball shooting range: $5 for a bucket of paintballs to shoot at their targets in their range
Fat tire bike rental: One hour rental for $10 to ride on their cleared trails
Feed the farm animals: $5 for a bucket of animal feed or bucket of horse treats
Pony rides: $5 for a staff guided pony ride. Pony rides to have a weight limit of 120 pounds.
