Lindsey Barron, Owner, is a foster and adoptive parent with decades of experience in marketing, business development, and community advancement. A Huntsville native, Lindsey brings deep local roots and firsthand parenting experience to Rocket City Mom, along with a lifelong commitment to serving families across North Alabama.
Her background in business development and community engagement, combined with years of hands-on parenting and advocacy, helps shape Rocket City Mom’s mission to make parenting in Huntsville and the surrounding areas more informed, connected, and accessible. Lindsey’s passion for supporting families and strengthening local communities is reflected across all Rocket City Mom platforms
Rebecca Hitt is the Managing Editor of Rocket City Mom, where she connects families to local events and resources through storytelling, digital strategy, and community building. She brings over a decade of experience in Huntsville tourism and content creation.
An alumna of Auburn University, Rebecca has worked as an archivist, educator and writer for local museums, including the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, The EarlyWorks Family of Museums, the Historic Huntsville Depot, and the new Signals museum. She has been an active advocate for Huntsville and Madison County since moving back to North Alabama in 2011 – as a blogger for the Convention & Visitors Bureau, a tour guide for Constitution Hall Park and the Huntsville Ghost Walk, and a performer at the Maple Hill Cemetery Stroll.
