2026 Rocket City Mom Family Favorite Award Winners

The results are in! After hundreds of nominations and thousands of votes, the Rocket City Mom community has spoken, and we are SO excited to announce our 2026 Family Favorite Award winners! A huge congratulations to every business and organization on this list. You are a big reason why North Alabama is such a wonderful place to raise a family. What makes this award special? Every nomination and every vote comes straight from our readers, because who better to ask about the best kid-friendly haircut spot or toddler-approved playground than thousands of local parents? This year was a close one! Several categories came down to the final hour, which is honestly a great problem to have. It just proves how many incredible businesses and attractions we are lucky to have right here in North Alabama. We also noticed something exciting this year: a major surge in nominations for businesses outside the immediate Rocket City area. To celebrate that, we created the Orbit Winner award, highlighting fantastic businesses across North Alabama that are absolutely worth the drive. And thank you for sharing your ideas for new categories! Your feedback was incredible, and because of it, we are officially expanding the awards list for 2027.
